Still A Child In My Heart...

There may be no Sun, and the rain may hide away;
I'll still be a child, long as you stay

Do you remember? We used to climb here,
And talked of little things that were so dear
And once in a while, we would take a ride,
Out in d woods where dark shadows hide

And those shiny evenings, when we ran along the beach,
Far away from the world, and out of reach...
And that summer night when stars were smiling,
We laid on d yellow grass, as d dusk was falling..

And the winter morns with a misty wind around,
We would come out and play on the ground
And the months of monsoon with all its grace,
When rain came down, spattering on my face

Drenched in d water, but dancing to the song,
I was so happy, for you danced along
Years after we grew up and grew apart,
But you still remind of a child in my heart

A Year After 26/11

My words are not frozen
And my blood is still boiling
But the vapours disappear
And the expression is long lost

Those guns and those men
Criminals moving in the city
Hours of terror and
Our endless duty

And the numbness felt
When it all ended
All the new resolutions
And life is mended

Or so it seems
As my city dreams

But then, an year after,
Things flash in the brain
Reality lies naked
And we can’t refrain…

Clouds, cold, rain and green...
Come, take me back to my childhood..
Those fearless roads, where innocence stood

take me back to the land of dreams,
with shadows of white and blue,
make me find again, thy hidden clue.

beneath a black mountain rock,
I had found some tiny springs ,
there I rested, with my open wings

Poised for a flight I stood alone
Looking around but no direction to go

It hurts

It hurts.

Even if you go thousands of miles away,it hurts.

Even if you decide not to think of past, it hurts.

Even if you start a new life on your own, it hurts.

Even if you enjoy the strangeness of air, it hurts.

It hurts when you are sad

and even when you are happy, it hurts.

It hurts when you loose yourself

and even when you don't, it hurts.

It hurts when you are there

and even when you are not, it hurts.

It hurts so deeply and I know, it will hurt forever.

A Song for the morning

From the lands of Dreams
I wake up to the world
Every morning…

The Sun smiles on me,
Trees shine bright
And I hear the birds sing…

All they wanna say is
O! get up fast!
Throw away that fear…

Get set, get ready
Coz life is real
And now it’s here…
